We use AWS Snowball devices for large-scale, secure data migrations, transferring terabytes of critical business data from on-premises sources to Amazon S3. After migration to Amazon S3, we create and apply an S3 lifecycle policy to automatically transition eligible objects to Amazon S3 Glacier Deep Archive for long-term, low-cost storage Lifecycle policy details: The policy is configured to move objects to Glacier Deep Archive after a defined number of days, based on compliance, retention, or cost requirements. This combination enables scalable migration, secure storage, and cost optimization by leveraging Snowball for bulk transfers and lifecycle policies for automated archival.

Architected a modern microservices-based solution for a fitness platform, leveraging multiple AWS services for optimal performance and scalability. The architecture utilized S3 for static content storage, CloudFront for global content delivery, API Gateway for RESTful APIs, ECS Fargate for containerized microservices, and DynamoDB for high-performance NoSQL data storage. This serverless and container-based approach enabled rapid deployment, independent service scaling, and cost optimization. The platform successfully handled variable workloads while maintaining low latency and high availability.
